What is it?
An ultra-lightweight moisturiser formulated with peptide technology and squalane.

What does it do?
Softens, firms and hydrates the skin without clogging pores.

What is squalane?

Pestle & Mortar vegan squalane is derived from olives. Squalane is a highly penetrative cosmetic ingredient that softens and soothes the skin.
It is produced naturally by the skin but decreases dramatically with age.

Why is squalane special?

• Moisturising & safe: Squalane absorbs slowly through the skin and is not a skin irritant.
• Transporting: Squalane is an excellent transport system through which the skin can absorb other ingredients
• Anti-ageing: Squalane plays an important part in the repair of damaged skin

It seems to be working wonders on my skin

I have been dying to get my hands on this cream since i saw Caroline Hirons mention it on her blog and i am happy to report it hasn’t disappointed! It seems to be working wonders on my skin which is regularly covered in acne but since i started using the cream (Just over a week ) it is starting to clear up! I use it with my Pestle & Mortar serum that i also bought with the recommendation from Caroline Hirons.

It soaked into my skin straight away

This is the ideal moisturiser for a makeup base! It soaked into my skin straight away which meant i didn’t have to wait long to apply my make up. Always a plus when your late for work in the morning!

Such speedy delivery!

Such speedy delivery! I live in Sweden and wasn’t expecting to receive delivery for a few days. To my delight just two days after ordering it i received my new moisturiser. Such gorgeous packaging too! Thank you Pestle & Mortar for this super cream with a super price tag too! Cant wait to start using it!

Please hurry with your next product!

I am 56 years young and i have tried, what seems like every possible skin care product out there. I came across Pestle & Mortar last year in my local pharmacy. Instantly i fell in love with their serum and it became my favourite beauty product until … Hydrate. Nice texture

Separate all components. Clean thoroughly ensuring that there’s no product residue and allow to dry.

New & improved design: paper cylinder made with 100% recycled paper, with no lamination and no foam insert; dispose of the whole cylinder in paper recycling.

(Legacy cylinders are made with 100% recycled paper but have a thin layer of lamination and a foam insert. Dispose of this type of cylinders in general waste.)

The Inner Packaging Recycling Advice provided here follows the advice given and approved by Eastern Midlands Regional Waste Office of Republic of Ireland, on recycling glass and hard plastic components of any kind. The recycling facilities and their capabilities will vary from country to country. It is always advised to check with your regional waste management company what types of waste they accept for recycling.

FAQs

I suffer from acne prone skin. Will Hydrate help?
Hydrate moisturiser contains jojoba oil that helps with acne and even helps reduce old scars. It’s unique in that it’s deeply moisturising but not at all greasy.
So it’s perfect for anyone from dry to combination or even oily skin types.

My skin is quite dry. Will Hydrate provide enough hydration?
Yes. With consistent use, Hydrate will rebalance the skin’s oil production.
Because it is extremely penetrative, it works from deep within the dermal layers to hydrate, soothe and nourish the skin.

Does Hydrate contain any SPF?
We do not incorporate an SPF into Hydrate.

Can I use Hydrate for my eye area?
We recommend using a separate eye cream for the delicate eye area skin.
