With five children, busy mornings, and dark skin prone to pigmentation, founder Sonia Deasy wanted to create a vitamin C product that would deliver maximum benefits and slot seamlessly into her existing skincare routine without causing irritation.

Sonia’s vitamin C product ended up being two years in the making, with 15 prototypes developed and rejected. The 16th and final prototype finally met Sonia’s stringent standards and is now the vit C darling of the skincare scene – Vitamin C 2 Phase Serum.
The problem with most Vitamin C serums is that they tend to feel sticky on the skin, don’t sit well under makeup, lose potency quite quickly when exposed to light, and cause irritation. When the product is pumped, both phases are mixed together in one perfect, velvety dose of serum.

This powerhouse natural ingredient has been used for centuries throughout India to remedy a lacklustre complexion and in fact, Sonia’s Indian grandmother would often mix tamarind with milk to use as a facemask for dull skin.
