ECommerce Manager

We are currently seeking an energetic Marketing executive to join the team and lead the Ecommerce and digital strategy across all of our B2B, B2C and distributor channels.  You will be responsible for all online activities and for maintaining our brand on all digital selling platforms.

 

You’ll provide excellent B2B and B2C experiences for Pestle & Mortar customers by taking ownership of the online experience. With strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of ecommerce product management, you will continuously drive improvement initiatives to maximise sales, increase customer acquisition, and optimise customer retention.

Senior Account Manager – B2B

JOB DESCRIPTION 

As Senior Account Manager for our key B2B customers you’ll manage the Account Management team, with ultimate responsibility for building and maintaining long-term relationships with our key B2B customers. You will possess excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills to motivate your team and drive mutually beneficial business goals with our B2B partners.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Account Management

  • Establish strong relationships with our B2B key customer base, acting as the main point of contact in all matters relating to their needs.
  • Activate the B2B marketing & sales plan, collaborating with our Marketing, Sales and Operations teams, to ensure sales and distribution objectives are continuously achieved.
  • Build, agree, activate and monitor joint account plans with selected customers.
  • Ensure our products are consistently presented in-store and on B2B customers’ ecommerce platforms in line with Pestle & Mortar brand guidelines.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our products and marketing assets to support our B2B accounts in their promotional activities.

Team Management

  • Act as Line Manager for our Account Management team providing them with clear direction, monitoring their progress and assisting in the removal of performance barriers.
  • Coordinate cross functionally with Finance, Marketing, Training, and Supply Chain to ensure new customer accounts are on boarded successfully and on time.

Reporting

  • Collect and analyse sales data and present actionable insights to the Senior Management team, identifying opportunities to grow our B2B business.
  • Realise new business development opportunities by strategically identifying new customers.
  • Maintain accurate customer records ensuring all customer information is up to date on our CRM system.
  • Provide product feedback from our key accounts to the Customer Success and Education Manager.

Qualifications & Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, commerce or another relevant field
  • 3-5 years Key Account Manager experience preferably in a beauty or lifestyle brand environment
  • Commercially focused with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent experience in negotiating and building long-term commercial relationships
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within the organisation
  • Ability to build real rapport and represent the brand in a professional manner
  • Extremely self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Market and category knowledge is an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office / Mac Office and CRM software
  • Excellent project management, planning and time management skills
