CURRENT JOB LISTING: DIGITAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE 

 

Are you interested in working on cutting-edge marketing campaigns to generate leads and drive online sales for a respected skincare brand? Pestle & Mortar, a globally recognised, award winning Irish Skincare brand are looking for a talented and ambitious data driven Digital Marketing Executive to join their marketing team.

This role will suit an analytical marketer with demonstrated experience in website management, SEO, PPC and email marketing funnels. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, this role will focus on new customer acquisition and increasing awareness of the brand online. This role requires a strong understanding of Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media advertising, email marketing, retargeting and conversion-focused marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

SOCIAL MEDIA & ONLINE AD STRATEGY:

    • Work with the creative and marketing teams to deliver engaging adverts across Instagram, Facebook and Tik Tok within agreed budgets
    • Monitor and report on PPC and paid online advertising campaigns.
    • Research other paid ad options to identify the best fit for the company
    • Optimisation, day-to-day management and analytics for Digital Marketing campaigns (Bids, Key Words and Ad Content)
    • Work with the marketing manager to execute the yearly digital marketing and e-commerce strategy.
    • Conduct in-depth keyword and website research, ad grouping and audience targeting.
    • Ensure campaigns are tagged appropriately and that data is absorbed into an effective test and learn strategy to continually improve results
    • Research and recommend creative and innovative digital campaign tactics and experiences based on data and insights, keeping abreast of market changes and trends.

CAMPAIGN & AD REPORTING 

  • Provide weekly and monthly reports to management on marketing metrics and performance KPIs to understand the health of campaigns
  • Apply learnings to future campaigns.

EMAIL MARKETING, SALES FUNNELS & CAMPAIGN BUILD OUTS: 

  • Work closely with the marketing team to identify our target email audience and grow the email list.
  • Strategically plan, design and implement direct email marketing campaigns
  • Campaign Build Out: Have the technical skills required to build funnels, modify drip sequences, advise on conversion-focused email copy and landing pages.

MARKETING STRATEGY & LEAD GEN MANAGEMENT 

    •  Build, test, and maintain lead-generating campaigns. 
    • identify opportunities and goals.

DAY TO DAY MANAGEMENT OF THE COMPANY WEBSITES: 

    • Day-to day management of brand websites, ensuring an excellent user experience
    • Update/add product listings, landing pages, promotions, banners, coupons etc

SEO

    • Ensure the highest conversion rates against PPC. 
    • Continuous monitoring of the the website and performance to improve conversion

CORE COMPETENCIES

 

  • Marketing Mindset: You are able to think creatively and intuitively regarding marketing campaigns and desired outcomes that put the customers perspective first. 
  • Strong Communicator: Ability to effectively communicate goals and outcomes to the team and to management 
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is a must in order to accurately identify and communicate KPIs and campaign performance to others while identifying areas for improvement in each campaign.
  • Keen Analytical Skills: You will need a deep understanding of marketing metrics and KPIs, along with the ability to dissect and solve problems through data. 
  • Problem Solving:. While we are a team and value the ability to ask for help, we are looking for someone who is self-sufficient, curious and is able to figure things out.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a digital marketing, advertising or communications role, or similar position
  • Diploma or higher degree in digital marketing or business
  • Highly competent in social media marketing (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook).
  • Previous experience working with WordPress, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn for Business, Hubspot, Klaviyo, Air Table or  similar platforms is highly desirable.
  • Experience using Google Analytics GA4 
  • Proof-reading experience
  • Creative, dependable, organised and a team player.
  • A strong work ethic and a positive “can do” attitude is a must
  • Comfortable operating to multiple deadlines and handling many projects at once.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • End-to-end marketing lead funnel setup and implementation
  • Expert understanding of drip campaigns and how to implement them
  • Eye for web design and general design ratios, experience with WordPress, Woo Commerce & Shopify a bonus.
  • Website landing page development and implementation
  • Understanding of Social and PPC Ads reporting and implementation
  • Experience analyzing marketing analytics and tracking campaign performance
  • Knowledge of the business landscape in Ireland.
  • Knowledge of the luxury goods or beauty and cosmetics industry a plus
